Fantastic from start to finish, the team at ventilate your home gave plenty of notice before arriving, assessed the situation and provided a detailed solution based on their almost 40 years of experience (including things we can do ourselves to improve things). The turn around from quote to work was incredible (though we definitely got lucky with an unexpected opening in the calendar) and their professionalism on the day was second to none. Special shout out to Shaun for dealing with and even fixing some work from other trades in the roof space. Shaun was very professional. He was quick to reply and came for inspection in the same week.  He gave us the quote for subfloor ventilation and the exhaust unit in the bathroom. He is very professional and knows his job. Overall service was very good from the time of contact to the installation of the subfloor ventilation unit and exhaust fan. Few things to mention, they were very clean. They entered my house without the shoes and made sure the house remained clean.

Regarding the exhaust fan. We are very happy with the unit. There is minimal precipitation in our shower glass and nil fogging of our bathroom mirrors. The sound of exhaust fan is far less as compared to our previous exhaust fan.

Regarding the subfloor ventilation. We got the unit installed 6 months ago. I did see a small patch of mould in our ceiling on the lower ground level which prompted me to contact Ventilate your home. We cleaned it before the installation and it has not returned back. The musty mouldy smell took some time to disappear. The noise levels are minimal. We don’t even notice the noise unless and until we are standing close to vents. I think we made a good decision to install the subfloor ventilation as we are living  in Central Coast very close to creek and it has rained a lot in the past couple of years. We hired Ventilate Your Home to provide a solution for a couple of areas of our house that didn't receive any natural airflow. They installed two large extraction fans in our garage and several intake vents in the affected areas.

The guys were an absolute pleasure to deal with and were  super friendly and professional. They took great care in their work and were very thorough in their post-installation cleanup.

We have been super happy with the final result. It has reduced the moisture in those areas and eliminated the musty smells.

Sean and crew suggested and installed several roof ventilation changes to our roof space and eaves. I have been pleasantly surprised after a few months how much our roof space has dried up even during humid and rainy weather. VYH are the real deal made of people who want to help and not walk away without making a difference. I only have good things to report on their service and pricing.
